Iran storms into Davis Cup second round

TEHRAN, July 21 (MNA) – Iran advanced to the second round by thrashing Bahrain 3-0 at the Davis Cup Asia-Pacific zone third-division qualifiers in Manila, capital of the Philippines, Friday.

Iran will meet Sri Lanka Saturday and will promote to the second division if it wins.

Saudi Arabia and the Philippines have also cruised into the second round.
